The Offspring : The Offspring was the second-to-last performing band on the main stage. Security surrounding the gig was tight, and I was lucky to get this panorama stitched from three seperate "moments" in the concert; When Dexter stepped down a level, I got my first shove to get out of the photographers' pit.
Other than getting shoved around a bit, the gig was enjoyable. It was fun to hear Dexter refer to the young adults in front as "kids". Soerii and Poolek | 2009-08-15

The Crystal Method : The USA formation "The Crystal Method" played an impressive set at the Unicum Next Party Arena. Above the crowd for Pendulum : Pendulum was supposed to play at last year's festival, but they had to cancel last-minute because of a fatal accident while transporting their gear. This year they made up for it, opening for The Prodigy. They dedicated their performance to the person who did not make it out of that accident.
I thoroughly enjoyed being in the back of the crowd, and I was clearly not the only one; it felt as if the whole island was drawn to the main stage area, leaving bars and other stages all but empty. They sure set the bar high for Prodigy to follow them up.

1979: Beatrice played punk rock music, being the first band in Hungary. Their music were cheap and aggressive. It was against the Socialist system and became highly popular, mostly among the working class young people. It was a unique Hungarian version of punk using folk elements . . . Fero was the absolute frontman, usually making comical and/or aggressive monologues or performances on stage calling himself the "Roach of the Nation". He became a "phenomenon" along with the band.

Dairy Queen at the Magic Mirror : All through the lively performances at the Magic Mirror latenight show, the people in the front row must have wondered why they had this plastic cover on their lap. As Moira Finucane came up for her Dairy Queen performance, the reason quickly became apparent.
I ended up having to lick the milk of my lens to continue shooting the show after this shot.
