Octopus : This one is taken along the Museum Row, which further extended the reach of Octopus this year. From the looks of it, yo could hang out and/or saw things.

Seesaw Ship : I don't know if you can make out what's going on here. I do know however, that even if you figured out that the wooden arc full of people rocks back and forth, you are likely not able to imagine what a rush you get when ending up on the tall end of the arc whille it is in swing.

Octopus Art Installations : Art installations at Octopus. This year, the greater Octopus area has grown into a great cultural center for the festival.

Elemér Balázs Group : One of Hungary's best known jazz drummer, Elemér Balázs formed his group in 2000. Simultaneously employing male and female vocals, building on the harmonies and the contrast of the two, the group has developed a unique sound via also venturing into the realm of ethnic sounds and rhythms.

OK, I'll start with the inevitable comparison to the a young Márta Sebestyén.... But she is really a shining star in her own right. She has performed and recorded with some of Hungary's best: Kálmán Balogh, Ökrös, Nikola Parov and so many others, and she is inevitably mentioned in any review of any CD or concert she has been a part of.

Ribbons : Typical sight. Overflow from the Traveling Fun Fair, the unofficial hub of amateur juggling and other kinetic intricacies.

Ritmo de Batacuda Band : Leave it to the Brazilian spirit to drum up the dance fever with the 30 member Ritmo de Batacuda Band pumping out samba rhythms and shaking their moneymakers for show.

Tzumo Árpád Oláh was born on 29 January 1980 into a musical family. He started playing the piano at the age of seven. He studied classical music at the Weiner Leó Conservatory (Hungary Budapest), after he received a scholarship to the Ferenc Erkel School of Jazz Music.

His first success was the shared first prize of the Hungarian (Béla Bartók) Radio's talent competition, which was a scholarship for 5-week summer course at the Berklee College of Music in Boston.
