Kaiser Chiefs : It must be a bit weird for artists on the main stage seeing my camera pop up on a long stick. Ricky Wilson thought so anyway, and took a good look what the hell it was.

Hadouken :

Skunk Anansie : Skin of Skunk Anansie takes the crown for most impressive stage presence for me. She gave every photographer ample opportunity for a good photo.
Later on in the show, Skin probably caused a couple of aneurysms with security by crowdsurfing. She seemed to have a great time.

The Chemical Brothers : Prince brought the Funk, The Chemical Brothers brought the Rave!
The Chemical Brothers rave party shook the ground. Not much light to go by for a photo apart from the multicolored pingpongballs, but who cares about light or a photo with this music? Rave on!

Kasabian :

Pulp : It had been 9 years that Pulp performed at Sziget. That was the second year Andras Frenyo shot panoramas at Sziget. Are we getting old? We probably are, but the Pulp show was still awesome!

Within Temptation : The highlight of the year sofar for me. And not just because I am dutch, and its been since 2006 that a dutch act was on one of the main stages...

What ... a ... voice! What ... a ... show !!
After a hiatus, Within Temptation is back and I am glad I was there to witness it.

Flogging Molly :

Prince! : How is that for an opening act for this year's Sziget? I think in all the years I've visited Sziget festival, I have never seen the island this packed during 0 day.

Prince did not disappoint! He brought the funk in a big way.

Kees van Hondt : Madness? This is KEES VAN HONDT!

"Feest" by Kees van Hondt is something to witness firsthand. Hours before the show, islanders started bringing treebranches, inflatable beds, tents, and basically anything that was not attached firmly to the A38-Wan2 tent. The tent soon got packed, but the 30-odd security gorillas that had been rushed over there were soon to find out the crowds were just elated and ready to start the party to end all parties. Feest!
