London-based Oi Va Voi's debut album, Laughter Through Tears topped the world music radio chart for three months in 2003, and the record finished second out of 1040 nominees on the annual list. Not bad for a relative newcomer that had only existed for three years. However, it is not that surprising considering that we are talking about Oi Va Voi, who didn't even have a full-length record out, when they were already invited to play at such big festivals as Glastonbury. Muse :

Muse was the official closing act of Sziget 2010. When they took the stage, they really took the stage. Not just with their performance for what must have been the largest crowd at sziget 2010 yet, but also by physically rebuilding the Main Stage for their act. These people know what they want to do, and they do it proper. Great show.

PS: try counting the cameras pointed at the band ;-)

Heaven Street 7 :

Radio Barkas : Radio Barkas is the tiny (and oh-so-cute) mobile radio station, broadcasting a groovy mix of 50s and 60s songs to the festival grounds. The music is played from a "condensed" Barkas car, which has all the Barkas djs need in it; turntables, music, speakers, and a smoke machine!

Esti Kornél crowd : You would be forgiven for thinking the festival has already started. But in fact, the festival does not start for another two days; this is "Day minus one". Even so, the island is already packed, and Esti Kornél attacted quite a crowd.
