The Crystal Method : The USA formation "The Crystal Method" played an impressive set at the Unicum Next Party Arena. The Party Arena is always packed from the minute it opens to early in the morning, and is one of the places islanders go to after the concerts at the main stages have ended.

On the Beach : Despite 'sziget' meaning 'island' in Hungarian, it's easy to forget that you are surrounded by water, while immersed in he festival offerings, and certainly possible to be aware and yet oblivious that there are beaches around you. I reserve the right to feel a certain homoerotic vibe looking around in this one, but at least reminisce of my adolescent reading of the Lord of the Flies.

Waking up along the Danube : I wandered around an earily quiet island on the early morning of day 4. Early islanders were getting up, while late islanders were getting their last beer at 8:00 in the morning. This spot on the northern end of the island must be the most idyllic place to pitch your tent; waking up to the returning of chirping birds and the serene sounds of the Danube flowing. You just have to hope there are no flash floods.
