Splish-splash, taking a bath : This must have been one of the smarter performances I have seen on the festival yet; the temperature easily reaches 30°C, and these guys were "selling" photo-ops for beer. Simply brilliant.

Hanging on by a thread : a Stunt Panorama : Sanyi, one of our photographers is also a stuntman. We have been shooting aerial panoramas of Sziget Festival for some years using kites and poles, but this is the first time one of us actually hung themselves upside down at twenty meters, in order to take a series of aerial phoographs with the precision required to assemble thos into a seemless panoramic image. Behold the result - a stunning overview of what constitutes pretty much the geographic center of Sziget Festival 2009.

Trabart (Engine Out) : Five dilapidated Trabants were given a chance of revival under the hands of art students. Revival, not in the sense of living, but more in the sense of going out in style. Odd that this project should coincide with news of Trabant making a true comeback as an electric car - if that is to be believed.

Puppet Performance : For me, the many little performances on the festival grounds are what makes Sziget so great.

Pole Dancing Classes : Wow. Alma Pinter is actually a world champion of exotic dancing. Call to all women of the island: Get your poles on!

KAP - View over the Main Stage area : There's wind that blows, and wind that sucks....

After a couple of days biting my tongue, there seemed to be enough wind to get my kite up. Unfortunately it wasn't really wind, but turbulence instead. So I did not get my kite up very high... Even so, this panorama was taken by suspending my camera from a kite!

Wine Garden : The Wine Graden is new in 2009. Hungary being a wine drinking nation it's only befitting and one wonders how the festival got away with not having a Wine Garden for 15 years ;^).

Seesaw Ship : I don't know if you can make out what's going on here. I do know however, that even if you figured out that the wooden arc full of people rocks back and forth, you are likely not able to imagine what a rush you get when ending up on the tall end of the arc whille it is in swing.
