Windy Performance : On the evening of day 3, a rather gusty wind gave a welcome breath of air from the day-time heat, but it also caused some performances to be cancelled. At the Cokxpon Ambient Tent, this performanc actually combined rather well with the wind, though the projected backdrops turned out a bit more "dynamic" than intended.

Port-a-pano : It sounded like such a fun idea; taking a panorama inside one of the toilets on the island. But I can asure you that even though the toilets are constantly being hosed down on the inside, you don't want to spend any more time in there than strictly necessary.

Octopus area at Night : By day, the Octopus area is buzzing with activity, but by night it gets earily quiet, with the distant pounding sounds of a multitude of stages.

VIP Area Long Exposure : Please forgive me for making a beginner's "mistake"; I took a brand new camera to Sziget, so I was still exploring its capabilities at the festival. This is me testing a long exposure in the VIP area, to the backdrop of Lauren Harris' performance.

In my most eary voice: "I see ghost people..."

Innersanctum : For the majority of festivalgoers, the Sziget festival and sleeping in a tent are inseperable concepts. "No time to tidy up though, or we'll miss the festival! We'll clean up when we clean out..."

Ambient Tent Projections :

Outside the Cokxpon Ambient Tent : The Cokxpon Ambient Tent has always been one of my favorite little relaxing areas. Shoes off before you enter, lie down, and chill out.

This year they opened up the garden for shoe-wearers. Interesting choice, as I've always thought of the shoes-off policy as an ingenious barrier for people to leave the tent; the atmosphere and performances were so relaxing that putting your shoes back on is just to bothersome.
