Belly Dancer : This guy is dressed like he's a professional and there's nothing wrong with a male belly dancer. Yet, there is something whacky about this stage which looks somewhat forgotten and also about the crowd which, while looks upon him with interest, seems not to dare to get closer. On the Beach : Despite 'sziget' meaning 'island' in Hungarian, it's easy to forget that you are surrounded by water, while immersed in he festival offerings, and certainly possible to be aware and yet oblivious that there are beaches around you. I reserve the right to feel a certain homoerotic vibe looking around in this one, but at least reminisce of my adolescent reading of the Lord of the Flies. DAY 1 - Waterpipes | 2006-08-09
